However, one of my major problems is not putting my wife first. It's not like I don't know that making her my priority is what I should be doing, but I still find myself trying to please everyone., and as a result, my wife gets relegated to second spot. I minimize the effect my infidelity has had on my wife, and as a result still put work and sometimes family ahead of her and her pain. Work presents a major problem, as I'm in contact with young women. I'm trying to further reduce my hours that will lead eventually to a part time position, hopefully in the not too distant future. I have secured help from a fantastic gentleman who has agreed to serve as an accountability partner. He and his wife have a great marriage and he says I simply need to make my wife priority # 1. My question is, how do I overcome not putting my wife first? Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Q&A Recovery LibraryRecovery FundamentalsThe Role of EmpathyRL_Media Type: Video
