Our story not only involves my husband's sex addiction, acting out behaviors, and his emotional affairs, but also sexual abuse. So over the course of our 18 year relationship, he has sexually abused me. Have you worked with couples who have recovered from this? I am wondering if there is hope for this situation. He has done Hope for Healing, I have done Harboring Hope, and we are currently doing EMS Online. We are both also in therapy. We are 11 months out from the most recent d-day. But because of the shameful and personal nature of being a victim of marital sexual abuse, I have only just begun to talk about it in the last month. If it is possible to heal, what are some tools, resources, or advice that would be helpful? I am having a hard time finding resources that deal with this directly.Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Find HopeQ&A Recovery LibrarySexual HealingTrauma of InfidelityRL_Media Type: Video
