Question:

I am 3+ years from D-Day, and we've had progress, but we have some serious setbacks mostly dealing with trust. After a heated fight in July, my husband has now changed all passcodes, removed himself from our family Life360 account, has returned to living a life of autonomy, is no longer sharing his weekly calendar, and has stopped providing travel plans. All of this behavior has also been tied to the marriage counselor we are seeing suggesting I stop obsessing over his whereabouts, and that some independence in marriage is a good thing - if he's going to hang himself give him enough rope to do so. I am just seeing red flags all around me, and after the most recent lie in late June, the week before the 3rd anniversary, I'm just at a loss. We have done Harboring Hope and Hope for Healing. The kicker is that he only admits to lying if he is caught; it does not come as submission on his own accord.
