Question:
Rick,
My husband and I are 3 months post D-day from the revelation of his 5 month emotional affair. He insists there was no physical involvement and/or romantic feelings as they lived in different cities and the majority of contact took place over the phone. I Feel I don't have all the info but want to make recovery work and we are in EMSO. He also has a history of secret drinking and has never admitted a problem. As he met the AP in a bar, one of my "safe" rules was no more drinking. Well, yesterday I caught him doing it red handed and he lied to my face about it. How can I believe anything he says about the affair to be true if it was so easy for him to lie again?
