Question
My wife had an affair with a man she met at AA meetings. I have a lot of triggers around the concept of “Recovery” and support meetings. When discovery happened, I had been quite a few classes, AA & NA, trying to support her. Once a week the co-ed meeting would split into male & female. From what I know now is that she used to share the affair with the other women in group before I knew. I now feel a lot inadequacy, shame, & developed a hate towards females. If there is a future for our marriage, would you see the journey to be any different than normal? How do I, as a betrayed husband, regain my masculinity while trying to reconcile?
