My wife wants to journal and in that journal she wants to write about the "love" she has for the affair partner. I found a journal that she has been keeping with many entries since D-Day a year ago. There are statements in this journal about "Soul Mate" and declarations of love and longing to reach out to the affair partner. I told her I did not want that in our house and I feel like there is still a third person in our marriage even though she has had no contact since November 2019. Her therapist says she should be able to journal like this, I feel it is an avenue to revisit the affair and the emotional fog from the affair. What are your thoughts about my wife journaling about her feelings and the fantasy of the affair partner?
