He made an excuse that he doesn’t have enough gas money to attend a 12 step group or Hope for Healing although we have a church family that’s more than willing to help us financially but his pride prevents him from asking for help. He has no initiative and responded with that’s all he has to give at the moment and doesn’t really want to do this anymore because we’re just existing together for our 5 kids and its toxic. He said nothing he does is ever good enough and he doesn’t think my requests will give hope because he’s done what I asked before to be safe and I still wasn’t safe or happy. What does this mean? Does it mean he’s not serious about his personal recovery? How should I proceed as this is shattering news given that we’ve finished Married for Life and I can’t make him do anything.Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Find HopeQ&A Recovery LibraryRL_Media Type: Video
