Question

What should I do as the wayward spouse when my spouse has a breakdown, is extremely upset, hurting, and tells me she doesn't want me around her or to touch her? It is a low moment during many high moments. I am really trying to gain trust and answer her questions. When I am direct with my answers it blows up. I don't give my affair partner any more energy or thought until my wife brings it up. I just want to hold my wife and I know it would help calm her but she doesn't want me around. What do I do?
