D-Day for an emotional affair happened 1 year ago, but he finally told me last week that it was actually a sexual affair and he did a lot of the pursuing. It was much more intense than he had let on this past year. I feel so angry and betrayed after a whole year of supposedly working on recovery. Should I expect another 18-24 months from now to recover? Also, now I obsessively compete with the affair partner on every level. Any tips on how to stop this?
