My husband is a sex addict. D-Day was only 2.5 months ago. He had given me discovery and access to his cell phone account. He went to strip clubs and would pay these girls who were willing to leave the premises and have sex. I have discovered the massive amount of texts between several of them....over the 3 year period...he says they were familiar and he was "successful in keeping an erection" with these is the reason for the prolonged time with them. He texted them regularly, 4-5 days a week, with as many as 75 texts a day. He says he is glad to be out of the cycle and wants to stay with me and loves me...I want to believe him. I am having a hard time with these few women and the amount of time he spent with them. He says he had no 'loving' feeling for them, but just did all he needed to do to keep them happy and available. Is this believable? Do you believe these are emotionally entangling affairs on top of the sex addiction? Still feel like I don't know all I need to. He swears he is not keeping anything from me.
