During the discovery portion of HH my husband, who is currently in a 2-1/2 year affair disclosed the following; He loves me but will never return because he lives in a constant state of anxiety being married to me. He said he wanted to leave our marriage since the day he said I do. He has no commitment to his AP, has only told her he loves her one time (when she was going through a tough time and he felt he needed to say it), but says he’s happy and at peace when he’s with her. He would like me to divorce him and find someone else, but he would still like to hang out with me as best friends if I would be OK with that. He has intentionally looked for a new relationship three different times during our marriage. He also had a single one-night-stand. He doesn’t sound like he is in limerence with this current woman.
