Question:

My husband exhibits most if not all of the narcissistic traits and it worries me whether I am hoping for nothing. They are very skilled con artists and manipulators. They can do all sorts of counseling, therapy, etc and they will still lie and cheat as so my husband has proven. We recently got married last year and within 2 months he was already entertaining another woman and had an emotional/sexual affair. He's been emotionally manipulative and acts very bipolar, one minute he's raging and the next he doesn't want to lose me or his family. His words mean nothing and I am ambivalent. He wants to do counseling and the EMS weekend now but I'm just to the point where I'm not even trying to save this anymore and focus on myself. I wonder if he really has that personality disorder or is this common. It’s just so unhealthy and my emotional health has really taken a beating. I know I wasn't perfect but I just feel so taken for granted and abused. I can’t settle for less anymore. I go to therapy, Divorce is not my intent but I’m just so tired.
