Question
My husband is ambivalent about doing any work on himself. We participated in EMS Online last year and have seen a counselor a few times. His response to these turned out to be, "I'm not jumping through any more hoops for you", and, "no matter what I do it will never be enough". We are 31/2 years out from him ending the affair. I am not sure why he wants to stay married as he will not tell me. We have been married 31 years. I am a person of faith and waiting. Do you have any insights into his line of thinking?
