Question
Our 16-year-old twin daughters found out about my affair because they found "My Story". Ironically, it fell out of my workbook without me realizing and our dog picked it up and took it upstairs where one of our daughters found it & read it. We had made the decision not to tell them about my infidelity and the recovery work we are doing because we have faith this program will enable us to heal and we will make it through and we didn't want to put them through the stress of all of this. I am also in counseling and we are going to couples counseling. We're looking for advice on how to manage our conversations and interactions with them now. I am the wayward spouse and before this had a wonderful relationship with my daughters. I fear this revelation has forever damaged our relationship. Them finding out has become a 2nd D-Day for our family.
