Question:

My partner has been texting a coworker. The coworker is the one who initiated the conversations with my partner. Yesterday, my partner told me that he intentionally texted his coworker while sitting at the table with me because he wanted to have sex with her. She also has a partner and is 25 years older than him. This happened 2 days prior to the official physical infidelity with a sex worker (2 months ago). He and his coworker exchanged quite a few messages and the flirting between the two was very obvious. Now I want to contact her to express my anger towards her and I demanded my partner to ask her for the conversation screenshot. He refuses to, and I feel he is protecting her. I don't know why I want it. among all infidelities, only one was physical, she is the closest one I can get because she knew about me and we were neighbors. Why does getting back at her seem so necessary to me? and how do I handle it? Secondly, I reconnected with my partner last week and my family rejected it aggressively. I feel rejected and abandoned by my family. Is it normal for family to feel disappointed at us for staying?
