Question
Rick,
I am the betrayed spouse. It has been 5 months since Dday. My wife does not love me. She won't touch me and I can't touch her. She says she wants to fix it and figure out what's wrong with her. We both agree that love is a choice. Our counselor says there is no magic pill. I disagree. The magic pill is Jesus Christ. We must give our pain and resentment to Him so we can be free to love again. That's what I did. How else would I have been able to get past the infidelity and continue to love my wife?
My question is twofold. Is Jesus the magic pill? And, if love is a choice, and my wife doesn't love me, then is she choosing not to love me?
