Question

We are on the forgiveness week of EMS Online. I’m wondering how I can really tell the difference between forgiveness and a desire to reconcile? If I feel some peace, acceptance of what happened, and the love of God or love God would feel towards my unfaithful spouse, how do I distinguish between that ‘godly’ love and the love of an individual? Obviously just because I forgive and feel love again does not mean reconciliation is a good idea. The two might be totally unrelated. I’d love some clarity on what a true desire to reconcile might look or feel like, after forgiveness.
