I am the wayward spouse and my disclosure was 2 months ago. I came forward to disclose to my husband about my 13 month emotional and physical affair with a coworker. He is in Harboring Hope and I am in Hope for Healing, we also attended the EMS Weekend this month. We are seeing several therapists, all infidelity specific. My husband says he no longer has feelings for me and does not know if they will ever come back or will love me again the way he used to. One therapist tells him to start trying to be affectionate with me while the other tells him not to force it and let it come naturally. So what should he do? He is so cold and broken. We have sex everyday but no real emotional intimacy and affection since D-Day. I am dying inside. I miss him and I miss us so much. We have to always be happy, smiling, laughing, PDA, etc. and now we have turned into people I don’t even recognize. This breaks my heart. I don’t want to lose my husband or our marriage, he is my person and I hate myself for what I have done to him and us.
