I confessed...wasn't found out...after a year-long affair, and while sensitive to my wife in the immediate aftermath, I took the opportunity to try to improve myself. Began to fight against porn addiction, lost a bunch of weight via diet/exercise, etc. I had a new lease on life, and was excited about the future for the first time in awhile. Looking back now, while not "celebrating," I probably wasn't as sensitive to my wife's hurt as I should have been. I think it set us back some. Definitely something to be aware of.
