Do you believe there are certain people who have a personality that doesn't allow them to heal from being betrayed in a marriage? We are 17 months out from D-Day and I still am not sure I could ever get over the affair and betrayal. I am in HH now and it is helping me but my UW is just now starting to watch a few videos here and there and read a few books here and there however, I just caught her 2 weeks ago contacting the affair partner again. There was one other time 11 months after D-Day also. She is more of the type to want it just brushed under the rug and for it to go away and be forgotten. She has always downplayed the affair stating the AP was just a friend with benefits.
