I am furious that my unfaithful husband has taken SO long to finally try to repair our relationship after I was finally wrapping my head around getting a divorce. I already feel like a fool for staying around for a year while he has continued to treat me so poorly. (If we didn't have children, I would have been long gone by now.) I'm not sure I will ever feel special to him or ever have that feeling that he is a really amazing husband/person. Do betrayed spouses who have had multiple Ddays ever REALLY feel special to their mate again? Do they ever REALLY stop having triggers? Do they ever REALLY trust their spouses fully the way they used to?
