Question
My husband and I are 14 months out of his emotional affair. We have been married for 24 years. He pursued a much younger woman and since then, I have lost much confidence in myself. I am working to restore my lost confidence but can’t help but feel that he was more attracted to her. My husband is remorseful and says he loves me and finds me attractive, but I feel that these are just empty words. The other day, a man approached me and complimented the way I was dressed. I was flattered. I want to believe my husband but can’t. Why?
