Hi Rick. We are a bit more than 4 months into recovery and have been participating in the EMS Online course. Over the last month or so my betrayed wife has started telling me about her complete numbness towards me. There is no love but neither is there hatred anymore. This indifference about our future scares me more than hatred. She says our marriage will never be any good again and that she is in it just for the kids. Even if I'd transform completely, she said she most likely will see me as a scumbag and loser. Whereas in the past she said she wanted me to transform and that it could make a difference to her, now my transformation won't matter. Is this part of flooding or is this lack of emotions a typical stage in the grieving process? I love her so much and really want to support her. What can I do? Thank you.
