Question

We are 5 months post D-Day and just past the date of our 26th wedding anniversary - I say "date" because it is only a technical reference point to me now. My husband (unfaithful) has finally started to plug in - just as I became fully exhausted - at day 138. I have decided that I have to give him the chance - mostly out of fear that I will have decisional regret if I don't try everything. I've been thinking a lot about re-framing and how the story of his affair and his girlfriend will live in our marital history books. I have read everything about the amazing Viktor Frankl and his re-framing his horrific experience. I am wondering if you or your staff have examples of how it has been done in the context of affair recovery.

What type of affair was it?
