Question
Forgiveness that doesn't restore?? I'm afraid I was too quick to forgive, which our therapist warned me about. I wanted to get "back to happy," and thought I would see positive results from him. Meanwhile, he's refusing to come back to our bed after a month on the couch. I'm afraid he's waffling between what he wants out of life: me and our kids, or....I try not to go there. Mixed signals abound, with regular, "I love you's," "I'm sorry," "Don't give up," and all the while, I feel like I'm drowning. He's admittedly less invested than I am, which is the ambivalence, yes? We don't fit the typical scenario of couples on the site.
