Question
I’m having a hard time understanding how I could feel like my husband and I were growing closer to each other emotionally during the time he was acting out in his addiction, especially the month he said the physical affair happened. We had what I thought were breakthroughs in our relationship and we were getting along a lot better. It seemed like we were starting to connect more even though the sex was still non-existent in our marriage. I keep wrestling with whether or not those moments were genuine and I find myself questioning our current moments of vulnerability. Will you share some insight?
