What to do when....

What to do when you sense the others faith is not strong enough to give you peace with turning things over to The Lord. What if you see a lot of "selective" communication patterns returning? Secrets in the form of "no conversation", slow to follow through, if at all, no meetings with other men for support, no letter to the AP w/out badgering etc..., but day to day life is sweeter and better than ever. Do you "make waves?"

How to get him more involved in this process?

I won't lie, my husband isn't fond of the homework associated with the workbook, just like he wasn't fond of homework in school. He doesn't like to read or write, which I think is keeping him from fully participating. I understand he's very busy with work, but I feel this should be more of a priority. What work he does do, I read it to him and write it for him. I'm fully enveloped in this process, working on my workbook every free moment I get. He's not going to get out of this class what he should if this continues. Any ideas on how I can get him to be more involved in it and to make it a priority. It would also be better if he would read/write in his own workbook. Thanks! Jayme

Reconnecton

Rick, I discovered my husband's emotional affair in Dec. 2006. Since then,he had been obsessing about her through pictures and the last discovery was Oct. 2012. We are doing the EMSO as a last effort to save our marriage. He doesn't want to give up on us, but he has been slow to figure out why he did this. We cannot seem to connect emotionally. He is addicted to porn, which he knows I hate and is trying to work on this. Through an accountability check he had 2 sites bookmarked on his phone. He wants to have sex, I do too, but I want an emotional connection. Not just playing footsie the night he wants to have sex. Am I just too disconnected? I have accepted what has happened, but I feel empty inside. Is there hope for a reconnection?

What type of affair was it?
